Kitchen Equipment & HVAC/R Service Technician

North Pacific Mechanical is a leading commercial HVAC/R and kitchen equipment service company serving restaurants and retail locations across the Pacific Northwest. We are looking to add an experienced and reliable Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to our team who specializes in hot-side equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, warmers, and other cooking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, grills, ranges, warmers, etc.)
• Perform routine PMs, calibrations, and component replacements
• Work independently in the field at customer locations
• Communicate findings with office staff and customers professionally
• Complete detailed service notes and follow company procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
• Respond to emergency service calls when needed (rotating on-call schedule)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on commercial hot-side kitchen equipment (fryers, ovens, grills, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical skills
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical documentation
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• EPA Certification is a plus but not required
• HVAC or refrigeration experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
