Kitchen Helper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our production team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring smooth food preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, basic culinary skills, and a strong work ethic. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food industry and develop skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
• Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are
• Ensure all kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment are properly sanitized and stored after use
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills preferred
• Experience in food preparation or food service environments is a plus, especially in restaurants
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn store techniques
• Prior kitchen is helpful, training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects (up to 35 pounds)
