Job Purpose
Support the kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation, and ensuring all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are kept in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and all kitchen utensils.
Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, cutting, peeling ingredients).
Ensure proper waste disposal and follow recycling procedures.
Stock and organize cleaning supplies and kitchen tools.
Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and follow all food safety rules (HACCP).
Keep the dishwashing and storage areas clean, tidy, and organized.
Requirements
Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen work.
Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
