Position Overview

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our growing team. This role supports the baking operation by assisting with ingredient prep, packaging, labeling, cleaning, and general kitchen tasks. You’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly so every loaf meets our high standards of quality and care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing baking ingredients and organizing supplies.
• Support bakers during production — pouring batters, rotating trays, and managing timing.
• Package and label baked goods for events and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dishwashing, sweeping, and sanitizing.
• Help load and unload baked goods for farmers markets or deliveries.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred (but not required — we’ll train the right person).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Availability for early mornings and weekend prep shifts.
