Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a busy kitchen environment, supporting chefs and team members in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily food preparation and cooking under the direction of the kitchen supervisor or chef
• Prepare naan bread using a tandoor oven
• Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens safely and efficiently
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to company standards
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including countertops, utensils, and cooking surfaces
• Wash pots, pans, and dishes and keep the kitchen organized
• Manage waste and follow hygiene and safety procedures
• Assist other kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team atmosphere

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or fast-food restaurant
• Experience in making naan and using a tandoor oven is essential
• Knowledge of operating grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Strong sense of teamwork and the ability to work well with others in a multicultural environment
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Candidate Profile:

We welcome applicants with a background and experience aligned with Asian cuisine, who can integrate easily into our existing team culture. Candidate needs to have a valid visa for a trail as we will only provide visa after probation period.
