Kitchen Helper

Assists the kitchen team in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment. The role supports chefs and baristas to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely preparation of food items served in the coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
• Support the kitchen staff in preparing sandwiches, pastries, and simple menu items.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Dispose of garbage and ensure proper waste segregation.
• Refill ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries properly.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Support baristas or kitchen staff during busy hours when needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a kitchen helper or in food service is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a café, restaurant, or coffee shop.
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and tools.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
