<Responsibilities>

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients in accordance with safety standards
• Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and helping with plating under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
• Handle food items safely during storage, handling, and transportation to prevent contamination
• Support meal service by setting up serving areas and assisting with portioning or delivering meals when needed
• Follow menu plans and assist in basic menu planning tasks under guidance from culinary staff
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to sanitation protocols throughout all kitchen activities

<Qualifications>

• Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Experience in food handling, food safety practices, or the food industry is highly advantageous
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques are a plus
• Strong understanding of kitchen safety procedures and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and serving others
• Previous restaurant or catering experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
