Secufire – Knoxville, TN is looking for a Kitchen Hood Cleaning Supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Kitchen Hood Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, and rooftop exhaust fans. This position plays a vital role in maintaining fire safety and ensuring compliance with NFPA 96 standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other facilities
• Operate power washers, chemical cleaners, and specialized tools for hood and duct cleaning
• Safely access and work on rooftops, ladders, and confined spaces
• Complete before/after photos and service reports for each job
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and cleaning equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Education / Qualifications

· Six months of direct experience required

· Candidate must have reliable transportation & drivers license

·Candidate must have the ability to utilize basic hand tools.

· Candidate must be able to periodically travel overnight to and from job sites

· Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.

· Must be able to understand and follow oral and written directions.

· Must be able to maintain accurate records and reports.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.

Physical Requirements:

· The candidate is required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.

· The Job requires the ability to: balance, climb, grasp, hear, pull, push, speak, and have mental and visual acuity.
