Kitchen Manager

Bludso's BBQ is looking for our next Kitchen Manager. Bludso's Kitchen Managers ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and complies with safety regulations. Duties include ordering food, preparing menus, and supervising the kitchen team. The Kitchen Manager ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards of Bludso's BBQ. Our Kitchen Managers ensure that guidance is provided to achieve our quality standards. Kitchen Managers ensure that all equipment and the overall environment are clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs.

Duties:

- Oversee food production and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist the general manager in administrative tasks and decision-making processes

Qualifications:

- 2 years of previous experience in a kitchen management role or as an assistant manager in the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to enforce them
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
