Kitchen Manager

Job Summary
We’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team in a busy casual fine dining restaurant. You’ll oversee daily operations, manage inventory and food costs, and ensure high standards of food quality and safety. Strong leadership, organization, and a passion for great food are key.

Includes a competitive salary with a potential annual bonus of up to $10,000.

Duties

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service
• Manage food prep, cooking, and plate presentation to maintain quality standards
• Order inventory and track food/labor costs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen that meets health code standards
• Train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff
• Work with FOH managers to coordinate service and menu execution
• Monitor portion control, waste, and efficiency
• Lead by example during busy shifts and step in where needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of kitchen or back-of-house management experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Proven ability to lead and develop a kitchen team
• Experience with inventory, ordering, and food cost control
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• ServSafe certification (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
