Kitchen Manager - Full Time Production Bakery

About the Role
Cinnies is hiring a full-time Kitchen Manager to oversee production for our growing wholesale and farmers market bakery operation. This role is hands-on and best suited for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, leading small teams with clear systems and structure while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance standards.

Schedule

• Full-time, salaried position
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on three weekdays (flexible days off)
• Early morning baker hours required on Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production and lead a team of 4 part-time bakers and prep staff
• Oversee large-scale baking operations to meet production goals efficiently
• Maintain full compliance with LA County Health Department standards
• Conduct and receive inventory; track par levels and ingredient usage
• Write and maintain production checklists, task sheets, and cleaning logs
• Assign daily responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow during all shifts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready kitchen at all times
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure product consistency
• Provide training and ongoing guidance to staff
• Write and manage weekly schedules in coordination with ownership

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing a commercial bakery or food production kitchen
• Proven ability to lead a team and maintain organized, system-driven operations
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Hands-on leadership style; comfortable working quickly and efficiently
• ServSafe Manager certification (current or obtained upon hire)
• Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented

Compensation

• Full-time, salaried position (commensurate with experience)
• Immediate start available

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
