Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently and thoroughly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and organizing supplies to support chefs during busy service times.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware and equipment are clean and ready for use.
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
- Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly to keep dining areas tidy and organized during service hours.
- Support the kitchen team in food service operations by restocking supplies and assisting with general kitchen duties as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen cleaning tasks is advantageous.
