Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Kitchen Showroom Manager with global knowledge to lead the daily operations, sales performance, and client experience of our luxury bespoke kitchen showroom. This is a leadership position for a highly motivated professional who understands the expectations of affluent clientele and can deliver a premium, white-glove customer experience from initial consultation through project completion.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader, team manager, and client relationship expert with a strong background in luxury kitchens, interior design, cabinetry, residential construction, or high-end home furnishings. This individual will be responsible for driving showroom revenue, managing showroom personnel, overseeing client projects, and ensuring operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage all showroom personnel, including sales consultants, designers, administrative staff, and support team members.
- Establish performance expectations, sales goals, and service standards.
- Conduct regular staff training, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional client service.
- Manage employee scheduling, staffing needs, and recruitment efforts.
- Resolve personnel issues promptly and professionally.
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive showroom sales growth through proactive client engagement and relationship building.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, and affluent homeowners.
- Identify new business opportunities and referral partnerships.
- Prepare and oversee proposals, quotations, contracts, and sales presentations.
- Ensure proper follow-up and management of all sales leads and client inquiries.
Luxury Client Experience:
- Deliver a concierge-level customer experience throughout the entire client journey.
- Conduct high-level consultations with clients regarding bespoke kitchen solutions.
- Guide clients through cabinetry, appliance, countertop, hardware, lighting, and design selections.
- Ensure all client communications are timely, professional, and solution-oriented.
- Handle escalated client concerns with diplomacy and discretion.
Showroom Operations:
- Oversee all daily showroom activities and maintain a world-class showroom environment.
- Ensure all displays, product samples, and marketing materials reflect luxury brand standards.
- Coordinate showroom events, designer showcases, networking functions, and product launches.
- Monitor operational efficiency and continuously improve showroom processes.
Project Oversight & Coordination:
- Manage client projects from signed contract through final installation.
- Coordinate with designers, vendors, manufacturers, installers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, deliveries, and installation schedules.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved while maintaining superior quality standards.
- Anticipate and resolve project challenges before they impact the client experience.
Vendor & Supplier Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with premium cabinetry manufacturers and luxury appliance partners.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with vendors when appropriate.
- Stay informed regarding industry trends, product innovations, and market developments.
- Evaluate new products and suppliers to strengthen showroom offerings.
Financial & Administrative Management:
- Monitor showroom profitability, sales performance, and operational expenses.
- Review sales reports, KPIs, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate client records, contracts, and project documentation.
- Assist ownership in developing strategic growth initiatives and business plans.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of management experience within luxury kitchens, cabinetry, interior design, residential construction, home furnishings, or related industries.
- Proven success leading sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of kitchen design, cabinetry systems, and residential remodeling projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing staff and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Experience working with luxury and ultra-high-net-worth clientele.
- Knowledge of 20/20 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar design software.
- Interior Design, Business Management, Construction Management, or related degree.
- Existing relationships within the architecture, interior design, builder, or luxury residential community.
