Duties

• Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
• Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to deliver quality dishes efficiently
• Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, adhering to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Buss tables and support serving staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
• Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by supporting customer service efforts when interacting with guests or during banquet events

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of kitchen operations
• Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and safety standards in culinary settings
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and support staff
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure compliance
• Previous banquet or hotel kitchen experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in various hospitality settings
