Position: Full-Time Kitchen Staff
Location: Rapids City, IL

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of kitchen operations
• Reliable and punctual
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to manage time effectively according to meal plans and schedules

Requirements:

• Pass a DCFS background check
• Complete all required trainings

Preferred but Not Required:

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Food Sanitation Manager certification

• Are you able to read a recipe and accurately adjust ingredient quantities to increase or decrease serving sizes using basic math?
• Have you worked in a regulated environment where you were required to follow strict guidelines and inspections?
• What experience do you have preparing meals for individuals with food allergies or dietary restrictions?
• Can you follow a set menu and prep schedule with minimal supervision?
• Are you comfortable working in an environment with young children and adhering to childcare center policies?

• Are you able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds?

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Menu planning: 1 year (Required)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
• Meal preparation: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Food Sanitation Manager Certificate (Preferred)
