Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures to ensure guest safety
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Contribute to banquet setups and service, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals for large events or group functions
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking supplies and notifying management of shortages or equipment needs
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Prior banquet service or hotel culinary experience is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential
- Experience working in hospitality environments that emphasize guest services and teamwork enhances your suitability for this role
