Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and baked goods following food safety standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, sanitation, and equipment upkeep.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using POS systems while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to ensure quality standards are met.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
