Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with all Kitchen and Service team members.
  • Perform duties according to the assigned schedule and shift.
  • Carry out all stewarding tasks as per given instructions.
  • Ensure that the kitchen is always clean, well-maintained, and organized.
  • Maintain a hygienic working environment in full compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
  • Support Cooks and Servers as required.
  • Clean food preparation areas, storage rooms, walk-in refrigerators, kitchen utensils, corridors, and equipment.
  • Conduct general cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and disposing of waste in designated containers.
  • Clean, wash, and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment following standard procedures.
  • Maintain floors and walls in the kitchen and dishwashing area according to hygiene protocols.
  • Portion and pack food as per specifications.
  • Maintain kitchen safety by promptly cleaning spills and ensuring all equipment, ovens, vents, floors, and walls are properly cleaned.
  • Empty, wash, and return trash bins; ensure waste is properly transported to designated collection areas.
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by the Head Chef, adhering to established schedules and performance standards.
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are cleaned and sanitized per company hygiene guidelines.
  • Keep all kitchen areas tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Take reasonable care for personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
  • Immediately report any hazardous conditions, near-misses, or injuries to the supervisor.
  • Avoid any actions that could endanger the health or safety of others.
  • Use all equipment, facilities, and tools safely and responsibly.
  • Operate all equipment according to instructions, avoiding interference or misuse.
  • Strictly adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure all dishware, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
  • Sweep and mop floors, clean carpet areas, and perform spot cleaning as required.
  • Replenish consumable supplies (soap, paper towels, cleaning chemicals) as needed.
  • Ensure all hand basins and sinks are cleaned regularly.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Age between 20 and 35 years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a central kitchen environment.
  • Proven knowledge of kitchen stewarding operations.
  • Candidates available in the UAE and able to join immediately will be given priority.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
