Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with all Kitchen and Service team members.
- Perform duties according to the assigned schedule and shift.
- Carry out all stewarding tasks as per given instructions.
- Ensure that the kitchen is always clean, well-maintained, and organized.
- Maintain a hygienic working environment in full compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
- Support Cooks and Servers as required.
- Clean food preparation areas, storage rooms, walk-in refrigerators, kitchen utensils, corridors, and equipment.
- Conduct general cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and disposing of waste in designated containers.
- Clean, wash, and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment following standard procedures.
- Maintain floors and walls in the kitchen and dishwashing area according to hygiene protocols.
- Portion and pack food as per specifications.
- Maintain kitchen safety by promptly cleaning spills and ensuring all equipment, ovens, vents, floors, and walls are properly cleaned.
- Empty, wash, and return trash bins; ensure waste is properly transported to designated collection areas.
- Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by the Head Chef, adhering to established schedules and performance standards.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are cleaned and sanitized per company hygiene guidelines.
- Keep all kitchen areas tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Take reasonable care for personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
- Immediately report any hazardous conditions, near-misses, or injuries to the supervisor.
- Avoid any actions that could endanger the health or safety of others.
- Use all equipment, facilities, and tools safely and responsibly.
- Operate all equipment according to instructions, avoiding interference or misuse.
- Strictly adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all dishware, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
- Sweep and mop floors, clean carpet areas, and perform spot cleaning as required.
- Replenish consumable supplies (soap, paper towels, cleaning chemicals) as needed.
- Ensure all hand basins and sinks are cleaned regularly.
Skills and Requirements:
- Age between 20 and 35 years.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a central kitchen environment.
- Proven knowledge of kitchen stewarding operations.
- Candidates available in the UAE and able to join immediately will be given priority.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
