Our kitchen operates with strict allergen controls to ensure the safest and best-tasting meals for our clients.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Kitchen Steward to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent English communication skills to maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and hygiene in our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the kitchen and equipment are clean to the highest standards at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of meals when conditions allow.
- Follow strict allergen control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
- Maintain proper food storage, handling, and HACCP standards compliance.
- Ensure all food items are correctly labeled and stored according to expiration dates.
- Identify kitchen workflow issues and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Manage time effectively, ensuring food prep stays on schedule.
- Work closely with chefs, kitchen assistants, and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow clear instructions in English, ensuring the kitchen is clean and operations run smoothly.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen (experience in gluten-free, allergen-free, or health-conscious kitchens is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail – every ingredient and process matters in our kitchen.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and think ahead in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English skills – ability to understand and follow precise instructions.
- Understanding of food safety and HACCP regulations (certification is a plus).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to special dietary cooking techniques.
- Currently based in Dubai, UAE, with a valid visa or work permit preferred.
