Job Summary
The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen, service areas, and back-of-house facilities at MADO RAK. The role ensures compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company standards while supporting kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, storage rooms, and waste disposal areas.
- Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste according to hygiene standards.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
- Ensure dishwashing areas are clean, organized, and operational at all times.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations in line with UAE standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, breakages, or safety hazards to management.
- Support kitchen staff during busy operations when required.
- Comply with company policies, grooming standards, and attendance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Steward or similar role in a restaurant or hotel is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Team-oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude.
Working Conditions
- Shift-based duty, including weekends and public holidays.
- Standing for extended periods and handling cleaning equipment.

- Follow instructions from supervisors accurately and promptly.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and teamwork.
