Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, sanitation, and waste disposal to uphold health and safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients under supervision.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving utensils, dishes, and equipment are clean and ready for use.
• Buss tables promptly during service to ensure a clean dining environment for guests.
• Handle food items safely following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
• Organize and store kitchen supplies efficiently, ensuring inventory is maintained accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations and ensure timely delivery of meals.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued!
• Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous.
• Experience working in banquet or catering environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly in busy settings.
• Prior kitchen or hotel experience provides a strong foundation for success in this role.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques or food preparation processes is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
