Kitchen/Bath Designer (Full time position with benefits)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team in a full-time capacity with benefits. In this role, you will be the creative force behind designing beautiful, functional kitchens and bathrooms that meet our clients’ needs and elevate their living spaces. Your expertise in cabinetry, flooring and remodeling will help transform visions into reality. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver exceptional results while managing multiple projects from concept to completion. Duties

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for kitchen and bathroom projects
• Develop detailed design plans using software such as 2020
• Prepare comprehensive project proposals including material selections, color schemes, countertop plans, flooring and cabinetry options
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials, fixtures, and appliances that align with design specifications
• Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and building codes
• Assist clients in selecting finishes and accessories that complement their style and functional needs
• Stay current on industry trends in interior design, remodeling techniques and renovation best practices
• Attending yearly seminars/shows to enhance design knowledge.

Requirements

• Proven experience in kitchen and bath design or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects
• Proficiency in 2020 Technologies design tools
• Knowledge of color theory, remodeling processes, construction practices, and budgeting strategies
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
• Familiarity with contracts related to interior design projects and renovation work
• Experience in sales is a plus; understanding of renovation processes enhances project delivery

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
