Working Hours: 9 hours per day + 1 hour lunch break

Job Overview

Our client a multinational leader in power distribution and electrical solutions is seeking a qualified and experienced KM Transmission Protection LOA Holder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, and protection of transmission systems in compliance with KM (Kahramaa) standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the KM-approved LOA Holder for transmission protection systems
• Ensure all work complies with Kahramaa (KM) regulations and safety standards
• Supervise and coordinate protection-related activities on transmission networks
• Review and approve protection schemes, settings, and testing procedures
• Conduct inspections, fault analysis, and troubleshooting of transmission protection systems
• Liaise with KM authorities for approvals, documentation, and compliance matters
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all protection activities
• Support project execution, commissioning, and maintenance works

Requirements

• Valid KM (Kahramaa) LOA for Transmission Protection (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in transmission protection systems
• Strong knowledge of protection relays, SCADA, and transmission network operations
• Experience working with KM standards and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Experience

• Experience in GCC projects, especially in Qatar
• Familiarity with modern digital protection systems
• Previous experience handling high-voltage transmission systems
