Kodak Alaris Colorado is the home of Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing and the Windsor Regional Distribution Center. The operations are responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of thermal media for photographic applications.
Position Summary
The Regional Consumables Planner is a key position in Kodak Alaris Colorado (KAC) Thermal Media Manufacturing (TMM) and Kodak Moments (KM). This position is responsible for monthly production planning, planning and coordination of key suppliers, weekly planning for KAC TMM, maintenance of components of inventory models, management of connected flow processes, incorporation of R&D, QC, and productivity programs into manufacturing
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide daily forecast to Regional suppliers, QC, R&D, Manufacturing Managers, and Sales
- Regular follow up with Regional suppliers, QC, R&D, Manufacturing Managers, and Sales to ensure supply and volumes are accurate.
- Prepares and executes daily pace and release sales to warehouse
- Hosts daily manufacturing Morning Market meeting
- Regularly reviews all necessary changes to production orders
- Hosts weekly Connected Flow Meeting and communicate MTD WW Sales update
- Finished Goods PPR – Review inventory and demand position and adjust accordingly
- Responds to and approves sales orders and verify items and quantities are aligned to the commercial strategy
- Review and coordinate export containers across regions Logistics export shipments.
- Provide daily reports to Key Supplier (Scholler) with updates on consignment, inventory reconciliation, etc.
- Attend New Product commercialization meetings
- Work with suppliers and Internal QC to respond to quality control requirements
- Attend weekly meetings such as MTD S&OP, Chair Connected Flow Meeting, Receiver, KMC Receiver WR reconciliation, QC and provide data updates to the teams
- Manage Supplier (Scholler) receiver Wide Roll shipments for KMC and provide updates in weekly BSCW Scholler receiver file update meetings
- Manage and provide Slit Intermediate Receiver Rolls and Finished Good Reports to management and suppliers
- Maintain and provide monthly report data for deployment breakout file/plan and SMI – Slow Moving Inventory
- Develop KMC MFG Monthly Thermal Takt Plan for WW demand.
- Create monthly FSJ receiver consignment purchase orders.
- Determine EMEA monthly task requirements for thermal.
- Travel and Leisure CTP, Sales Pivot table
- Develop Rochester MFG Monthly Optical Media Takt Plan for WW demand.
- Issue Quarterly purchase agreement for consignment receiver WR.
- Develop forecasts for external vendors for Epson Inks WW demand –
- Update CF Map rails

Skills And/Or Knowledge Specifications
- Use of AX, Including Sales & Planning Modules and Production Modules (to Create Orders, “See” Inventory, etc.)
- Strong Math skills; ability to understand units of measure
- Understanding of Production Flow
- Use of Microsoft Office Programs such as Outlook, Word, Power Point, with intermediate skills in Excel
- Comfortable using supplier websites
- Use of the Thermal Media Information System (TMIS)
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing (Production Control Systems, Use of Kanban, etc.)
- Understanding of Internal and External Logistics for Thermal Media
- Ability to Compile and Organize Information for Sharing Throughout an Organization (from Operations to Management) and at the Worldwide Level (Numerous Countries, Regions, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task
- Analysis of Complex Situations, the Ability to Recognize Key Issues and the Generation of Data-Driven Recommendations for Management

Education And/Or Knowledge Specifications
- High School Diploma Required
- Minimum of 3 years of relatable experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to build strong working relationships with key local and off-site partners
- Overall Understanding of the KM Thermal Media Business is a plus.
- Understanding of Colorado Thermal Media Manufacturing
- Understanding of the design and use of thermal media products
- Awareness of the key worldwide supply chains for thermal media
- Awareness of the Key Suppliers and Customers of KAC TMM
- In-Depth Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Tools (Including Visual Management, Table-Top Simulations, Elimination of Waste, Improvement of Information and Material Flows, etc.)
- Willingness to participate in worldwide forums and regional meetings during off-hours
- Ability to effectively work in an environment with rapidly changing business conditions
- Ability to make recommendations and decisions based on limited information
Compensation: $54,500.00 - $61,500.00 annually, contingent on level of experience
