Korean Bilingual Unix/Linux Engineer

<Duties>

  • Develop, configure, and optimize Unix/Linux operating systems to support enterprise applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable system architectures utilizing microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and virtualization technologies like VMware and ESXi.
  • Implement system hardening practices, vulnerability assessments, and security protocols to safeguard IT infrastructure against threats.
  • Manage system automation through scripting (Bash, Shell Scripting) and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Monitor system performance using load balancing techniques, troubleshooting issues related to firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network configurations to ensure high availability.
  • Support database management tasks involving MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server; optimize queries and ensure data integrity.
  • Contribute to solution architecture discussions for service-oriented architectures (SOA), RESTful APIs, web services (SOAP), and system design best practices.

<Requirements>

  • Must be Korean Bilingual.
  • 4-7 years of proven experience with Unix/Linux operating systems including system administration tasks such as user management, file systems, process control, and shell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and cloud security principles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of virtualization (VMware ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, C#, and Ruby on Rails for automation and development purposes.
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; version control with Git.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as system hardening techniques, vulnerability management, threat intelligence analysis, and information security best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues through debugging tools and system logs; excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
