We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Korean Cuisine Chef to join our team. If you have experience preparing traditional Korean dishes and a deep appreciation for Korean food culture, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Korean dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Develop and maintain menu items that showcase traditional Korean flavors and techniques
- Ensure consistency and quality of food preparation and presentation
- Manage kitchen operations, including food inventory, ordering, and food safety practices
- Work with restaurant management to create seasonal specials or limited-time menu items
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff on Korean cooking techniques and restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chef, preferably with hands-on knowledge of Korean cuisine
- Familiarity with traditional Korean cooking methods (e.g., BBQ, kimchi-making, soups, stews, etc.)
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage kitchen staff
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
- Korean restaurant experience is a strong plus, but we are also open to candidates with experience in other Asian cuisines who are willing to learn
- Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred
- Passion for Korean food and culinary innovation
