Job Summary
As a Korean Language Coach at Language Academia, you’ll work with students of all ages — from kids to adults — helping them connect with the Korean language through creativity, culture, and confidence. You’ll lead one-on-one lessons and group classes, host interactive workshops, and help develop engaging curriculum for levels ranging from absolute beginner to advanced fluency.

Beyond the classroom, you’ll also collaborate with our team on content creation for YouTube and other social platforms — sharing your expertise, energy, and love for Korean language and culture with a global audience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience teaching or tutoring Korean
• Deep understanding of Korean grammar, culture, and modern usage
• Confident, engaging presence — comfortable speaking on camera
• Creative and adaptable teaching style — able to design lessons for all levels
• Reliable, organized, and passionate about education in a fast-paced, supportive team
• Basic computer literacy (Google Suite required)
• Performing arts, film, or on-camera training is a huge plus
• Must have a reliable car for in-person sessions and occasional shoots
• Fluency in an additional language is a huge plus
• Must be fluent in both Korean and English
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in linguistics, performing arts, language, culture, or other similar fields

Schedule

• Shoot Days: 1–3 days every 2 months (content filming for Language Academia’s YouTube and social platforms)
• Tutoring & Coaching: On-demand, flexible scheduling based on student bookings and availability
• Combination of online and in-person sessions (Los Angeles area)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
