Korean speaking Primary Care Physician

Job Overview
We are a well-established medical group seeking a Korean-speaking Primary Care Physician to provide high-quality care to our growing Medicare HMO patient population. Our clinic is located in a highly desirable area and is supported by a fully staffed front office. We currently provide care for several hundred established patients.

The office includes a comfortable reception area, two fully equipped exam rooms, a private physician office, and a small back-office workspace for administrative support. We take pride in maintaining a patient-centered atmosphere that emphasizes compassion, accessibility, and culturally competent care for our primarily Korean-speaking senior community.

This is a full-time, outpatient-only position with a strong support team, efficient office flow, and established patient base. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Korean, experienced or comfortable with HMO models, and dedicated to building long-term relationships with patients.

(Will be sole provider at the clinic)

Responsibilities

1. Patient Care & Clinical Duties
Provide comprehensive primary care services to HMO members, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care visits.

Conduct thorough history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Focus on preventive care and evidence-based medicine in accordance with HMO guidelines.

Ensure continuity of care for all assigned patients.

2. Care Coordination
Coordinating referrals to specialists within the HMO network.

Monitor referrals, tests, and follow-ups to prevent gaps in care.

Maintain updated care plans for patients with complex needs.

3. Compliance & Documentation
Adhere strictly to HMO policies, guidelines, and utilization management protocols.

Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR to support quality measures, audits, and billing.

Participate in quality improvement programs and meet HMO performance metrics (e.g., HEDIS measures, patient satisfaction).

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Experience with EHR systems; familiarity with Elation is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical research, and patient assessment techniques.
  • Demonstrates expertise in Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF) scoring and compliance with HEDIS quality performance measures.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and health coaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $260,000.00 - $270,000.00 per year
