About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Kubernetes Engineer with strong expertise in Containerized Application Deployement on AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate must be CKA certified with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience. You will work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to build, optimize, and scale reliable cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, preferably using Amazon EKS.
• Implement and maintain reliable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure (VPC, EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, ALB/NLB, Route53, etc.).
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.).
• Create and manage Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and Kustomize configurations.
• Troubleshoot cluster performance, container issues, pod failures, and network problems.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Configure and manage monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK/EFK, Datadog).
• Strengthen cluster security using RBAC, secrets management, network policies, and AWS security best practices.
• Collaborate with developers to containerize and optimize application deployments using Docker.
• Support high availability, scaling, disaster recovery, and multi-region deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification — Mandatory.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud architecture.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Proficiency with Docker and container technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (load balancing, ingress, DNS, service mesh, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Preferred / Nice-to-Have
• Experience with service mesh tools (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).
• Exposure to GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
• Understanding of security/compliance frameworks (CIS, SOC2, ISO).
• Experience with distributed systems such as Kafka, Redis, or RabbitMQ.
• Additional certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, CKAD, CKS).
