We are hiring for L2 Engineer- Server & Storage to join one of our major clients based out of UAE.

Job Details:

Role- L2 Engineer- Server & Storage

Work Location- Dubai, UAE

Employment type- Contract- 12 months & extendable

Job Description:

Server Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
• Administer server performance and ensure availability to users.

Storage Management:

• Manage SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) environments.
• Ensure data redundancy and recoverability through regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Network Services:

• Administer services related to servers such as DNS, DHCP, file servers, and print servers.
• Manage connectivity and performance issues related to storage networks.

Security Management:

• Implement security measures for server and storage systems to protect sensitive data.
• Coordinate with security teams to audit and address vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational IT policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience (8+ years) in a technical support role, preferably in Server and Storage technology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to details.
• Relevant certification MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Strong knowledge of VxRAIL HCI (hyperconverged infra) from DELL and Huawei storage
• DELL PowerProtect DataManager
• Operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Linux (CentOS, Rocky, SUSE etc)
