Lab Assistant

Highly successful medical oncology/hematology group practice seeking an experienced Lab Assistant. Willing to train the right candidate if limited or no oncology experience.

Primary responsibilities include:

*Perform daily start up of lab equipment to include calibration and QC

*Prepare samples for testing using various laboratory equipment

*Maintain laboratory records

*Conduct laboratory tests

Requirements:

*Minimum of 2 years experience as a laboratory assistant

*Good understanding of laboratory information systems and automated lab equipment

*Experience with Sysmex XN350 and Vitros 5600 lab equipment preferred
