Lab Assistant

Nova IVF, an Ivy Fertility Clinic located in Mountain View, California, is seeking a full time, detail-oriented, Embryology Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of the embryology laboratory. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a scientific background, and an interest in reproductive medicine. Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff
• Assist embryologists with laboratory setup and quality control procedures
• Coordinate and schedule laboratory procedures with clinical staff
• Verify and manage specimen shipments into and out of the clinic
• Maintain accurate specimen tracking records
• Track inventory and manage laboratory supplies and media
• Coordinate routine laboratory maintenance
• Prepare, organize, scan, and file laboratory documentation
• Utilize Excel for data entry, laboratory tracking, and KPI reporting
• Other duties as assigned

This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
• Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience
• Work Authorization
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills

Compensation:

• Starting salary: $75,000 annually (depending on experience)
