Position Overview

We are currently looking to hire dependable, motivated individuals for a full-time (or potentially part-time) Lab Assistant role at our industrial water treatment chemical facility.

This is a hands-on position within a stable, family-owned business environment with opportunities for long-term growth and advancement. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced team setting.

The role involves a combination of laboratory support, quality control, regulatory documentation, shipping coordination, and general operational assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily laboratory operations and organization
• Perform various lab tests and record accurate results
• Conduct quality checks on products before shipment
• Prepare samples and assist with product evaluations
• Troubleshoot product shipment or packaging issues as needed
• Write reports and maintain laboratory documentation
• Assist with research and development projects
• Create and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), labels, and other regulatory documents
• Help maintain compliance-related records and product documentation
• Order lab, packaging, and operational supplies
• Create and manage bulk Amazon shipment orders
• Compare shipping rates and assist with shipping logistics coordination
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records
• Follow all laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures
• Assist with additional operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and administrative skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a hands-on work environment
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn laboratory, chemical, and regulatory processes
• Previous lab, warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, or chemical industry experience is helpful but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
