Lab Chemist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize skincare & haircare formulations (creams, serums, shampoos, etc.)
• Conduct stability, safety, and performance studies on new formulations
• Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations & industry standards
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and regulatory teams to deliver safe, effective products
• Research new ingredients, technologies, and trends to create market-ready innovations
• Maintain accurate lab documentation, SOPs, and formulation records

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, B.Tech/M.Tech in Cosmetology, or B.Pharm/M.Pharm
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in cosmetic formulation (skin & haircare preferred)
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, preservatives
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines (BIS, FDA, EU regulations preferred)
• Analytical, research-driven, and detail-oriented mindset
• Passion for innovation in personal care & cosmetic science
