Laboratory Chemist Qualifications & Skills

  • PhD in chemistry or a related field
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech laboratory setting
  • Experience with mass spectrometry, chromatography, or other advanced scientific techniques
  • Ability to work with hazardous materials and in a regulated environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field
  • Several years of experience working as a laboratory chemist
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
