Lab Coordinator

The Laboratory Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting clinical trials by conducting laboratory tests and experiments, processing specimens, and maintaining laboratory equipment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and strict compliance with regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct laboratory tests and experiments according to study protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Process biological specimens, including blood and urine, for analysis.

· Perform routine laboratory procedures, such as centrifugation, pipetting, and aliquoting, with precision and accuracy.

· Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

· Document experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Assist CRCs with data entry.

· Own inventory list of laboratory supplies, order and restock as needed.

· Adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all laboratory personnel.

· Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

· Collaborate with other members of the research team to achieve project goals and deadlines effectively.

· Monitor temperature for all lab and pharmacy devices, adjust as needed.

· Prompt communication of deviations or temperature excursions ensures that corrective actions can be taken to maintain the integrity of research data.

· Back up for inpatient unit staff coverage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,008.81 - $55,408.46 per year
