Key Responsibilities:
Manage reagent/kit inventory across India and conduct monthly counts, update inventory management tool, manage procurement/transfers/expiries etc.
- Support lab work under supervision, including setting up experiments and collecting data
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples as needed
- Maintain and clean lab equipment, tools, and workspaces.
- Record, organize, and manage experimental data accurately
- Follow strict lab safety procedures and protocols at all times.
- Assist with inventory tracking of supplies and chemicals
- Participate in meetings and communicate findings or observations to team members.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks (processing invoices, payments, and tracking).
- Perform bank and account reconciliations and help prepare financial reports.
- Support month-end closing activities and journal entries.
- Help enter and verify financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track and analyze expenses and assist with budgeting tasks.
- Participate in audits, documentation, and finance-related projects as needed.
- Prepare spreadsheets, graphs, and basic financial summaries.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant science or engineering degree (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biotech). • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to finance functions
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and scientific methods.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
- Good organization, record-keeping, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
