Lab Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and techniques, with experience in various scientific disciplines. This role is essential for supporting our research and development efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to high-quality laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments and analyses following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations.
• Collect, record, and analyze data meticulously, ensuring adherence to FDA regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of samples for testing in microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other relevant fields.
• Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management and reporting.
• Collaborate with research teams to support scientific research initiatives and development projects.
• Stay updated on veterinary terminology and animal physiology as it relates to laboratory work.

Skills

• Proficient understanding of laboratory techniques including microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and clinical laboratory experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and safety protocols in an industrial or clinical setting.
• Experience in data collection methodologies and research & development processes.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and quality control standards within a laboratory environment.
• Excellent math skills for accurate calculations related to experiments and analyses.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
