Lab Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in phlebotomy, laboratory procedures and techniques, with experience in both clinical and industrial laboratory settings. This role requires proficiency in various laboratory practices, adherence to FDA regulations, and a commitment to quality control. The Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting research and development efforts while ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols and procedures.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments, maintaining detailed documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis using various laboratory techniques
• Collaborate with team members on research projects, contributing to scientific research initiatives.
• Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management and reporting.
• Stay updated on FDA regulations and GLP standards to ensure compliance in all laboratory activities.
• Order and manage laboratory kits for multiple trials
• Obtain vital signs
• Conduct EKG's

Experience

• Proven experience in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
• 1-2 years of inpatient or outpatient Phlebotomy experience
• Strong understanding of laboratory techniques
• IATA certification
• Aseptic technique
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
