Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory experience, familiarity with GLP and CGMP standards, and a solid understanding of various laboratory techniques. A background in microbiology, molecular biology, histology, or clinical laboratory procedures is highly desirable. This position requires meticulous data collection, analysis skills, and adherence to FDA regulations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of scientific experiments and quality assurance processes.

Duties

  • Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols and regulatory standards such as GLP, CGMP, and FDA regulations
  • Perform microbiological testing, histology preparations, molecular biology assays, and other specialized laboratory techniques
  • CBC, Chemistry & Immunoassay Analyzers
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and safety guidelines throughout all laboratory activities
  • Support research & development initiatives by preparing samples, analyzing results, and documenting findings
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in routine inspections and audits to uphold laboratory standards and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with team members on experimental design, troubleshooting, and data interpretation

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and quality control standards
  • Experience with microbiology techniques, histology processing, molecular biology methods, and clinical laboratory procedures
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and laboratory documentation practices
  • Various Analyzer experience - CBC, Chemistry & Immunoassay for example
  • Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in data collection and interpretation
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as pipetting, sample preparation, staining, PCR, cell culture, or microscopy
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a research or industrial laboratory setting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic math skills for data analysis and calculations relevant to laboratory work

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
