Active in North America since 2006, PlanET delivers proven, reliable Biogas and RNG technology tailored for a variety of feedstocks. In addition to technology supply, PlanET provides full operational support—including biological lab testing, operator training, preventative maintenance programs, tank cleanouts, and desulfurization solutions—to ensure long-term performance and efficiency. We continue to grow our North American presence while advancing our technology to convert diverse feedstocks into RNG and next-generation biofuels.

For the continued expansion of its North American operations, PlanET is looking for a Lab Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Drive to northeast Colorado digester sites via personal vehicle at least twice per week for sample pickup, requiring approximately 350 miles weekly, with the occasional need for additional driving and sample pickup.
  • Manage sampling and shipping materials for customers, ensuring each customer has adequate materials for collecting and shipping samples.
  • Conduct a variety of laboratory tests following established protocols and procedures.

  • Perform various housekeeping duties for laboratory and office.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field (Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline) or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • Previous experience with sample analysis in a laboratory and/or field environment.
  • Ability to drive approximately 350 miles per week with personal vehicle for sample collection and other site visit needs. The applicant’s vehicle should be capable of traversing roads that can be rough and/or muddy.
  • Good in-person and written communication skills that support coordination with staff at digester sites.
  • Attention to detail with sample collection, analysis, and communication.
  • Knowledge and practice of laboratory safety procedures, including the safe handling of biologically active samples and laboratory reagents.
