Job Summary:

The Lab Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic laboratory tests, handling specimens accurately, and ensuring timely and precise reporting of results while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualification:

  • B.Sc. MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology)
  • OR
  • DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology)
  • Valid registration (if applicable as per state norms)Experience:
  • 0–3 years of experience in hospital/diagnostic laboratory
  • Freshers can apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, body fluids).
  • Perform routine laboratory tests in:
  • Hematology
  • Biochemistry
  • Microbiology
  • Serology
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records.
  • Follow infection control and biomedical waste management protocols.
  • Report abnormal/critical values to concerned doctors immediately.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and reagents.
  • Adhere to NABH and hospital quality standards.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and analyzers
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer knowledge (LIS/HIS)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
