Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician/Microbiology Technician to join our eye hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory investigations, maintaining lab standards, and supporting clinicians in delivering accurate diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests and microbiological investigations as per hospital protocols
• Collect, label, and process patient samples accurately
• Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of laboratory equipment and work areas
• Handle and maintain laboratory instruments and reagents
• Follow infection control and biomedical waste management protocols
• Assist doctors and nursing staff with diagnostic support
• Ensure timely reporting of lab results
• Maintain stock and coordinate with purchase department for lab consumables
• Follow NABH and quality standards of the hospital

Eligibility Criteria

• DMLT or BSc Microbiology from a recognized institution
• Basic knowledge of microbiology procedures and lab equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in shifts if required

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospital laboratory (preferred)
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control
• Computer knowledge for lab reporting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
