Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. Duties
- Prepare, process, and analyze biological samples using advanced laboratory techniques such as histology, microbiology, molecular biology, and other scientific methods.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all instruments are calibrated and functioning according to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Conduct quality control assessments to verify the accuracy and reliability of test results in compliance with FDA regulations.
- Collect, record, and interpret data meticulously using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to support research projects and regulatory documentation.
- Follow detailed laboratory procedures for sample handling, testing, and documentation while adhering to safety protocols related to microbiology, veterinary terminology, and clinical laboratory practices.
- Support research & development initiatives by assisting with experiments involving analysis skills, scientific research methodologies, and laboratory techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving analysis of animal physiology data or other specialized areas such as histology or molecular biology.
Experience
- Prior industrial laboratory experience with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Experience working within GLP or CGMP environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with microbiology, molecular biology, histology, or clinical laboratory work enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations related to laboratory testing ensures compliance with industry standards.
- Demonstrated ability in data collection, analysis skills, and maintaining accurate records using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Background in veterinary terminology or animal physiology is a plus for supporting specialized research projects.
- Proven track record of working effectively in research laboratories or scientific research settings with attention to detail and precision in math-related tasks. Pay: $24.27 - $29.23 per hour
