Role Summary

The Lab Technician is a detail-oriented and reliable support for quality control and product testing within our manufacturing facility. The Lab Technician will perform routine laboratory tests, maintain accurate records, and ensure products meet company and industry quality standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures.

  • Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.

  • Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing.

  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and laboratory equipment.

  • Assist with quality investigations and root cause analysis when test results fall outside specifications.

  • Maintain organized laboratory records, logs, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and laboratory processes.

  • Ensure the lab remains clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Communicate findings and concerns to the Quality Manager or Laboratory Supervisor.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of laboratory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and testing procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and data entry systems).

  • Experience with ERP/MRP and SAP

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
