Lab Technician

TG Analytical Laboratories, a state certified water and water treatment equipment testing facility, has an opening for a Lab Technician at its location in Greenville, WI. This position would require occasionally working Saturday mornings and occasionally working after 5pm with a semi-flexible schedule.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Perform water and resin analysis using GFAA, IC,ICPMS, spectrometry, titrations, and more

- Troubleshoot issues with samples or equipment using root cause analysis

- Verify chain of custody is intact and requirements are met for samples

- Follow TGA SOPs and update SOPs when necessary

- Assist lab director with special projects when needed

- Maintain quality records for state certifications

- Work with acid, organics, and other dangerous chemicals with minimal supervision

- Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and meet customer needs

- Maintain a clean and safe work area

Skills and Requirements

- Experience with titrations, chromatography, graphite furnace AA, GCMS, etc

- Experience in a laboratory setting

- Experience with analytical chemistry

- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field highly desirable.

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work standing for most of the day.

- A valid drivers license

Compensation commensurate with experience.
