Apple Tree Dental is a nationally recognized, innovative non-profit group practice committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality dental care to patients of all ages and abilities. We serve communities both at our Centers for Dental Health and through mobile and on-site services in long-term care and assisted living facilities, Head Start centers, group homes, and schools.
As an integral part of our dental staff, you will be responsible for completing all the phases in making dentures.
- Sterilize incoming cases
- Pour up models
- Trim models
- Mount jobs for set-ups – new baseplates as needed
- Baseplates, bite rims, and custom trays
- Duplicating models
- Setting up and waxing up cases
- Processing and finishing
- Repairs and relines
- Maintaining stock of and ordering teeth

- High school diploma or GED required
- Dental lab experience preferred, but not required
- Effective oral and written communication skills required
- Successful clearance of general and DHS background checks required

- Knowledge of modern dental materials, their storage, handling and applications
- Ability to attend to multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritize assignments and responsibilities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and protocols
- Ability to work independently and be flexible in completing cases to dentist specifications
- Prolonged sitting or standing may be required.
- Those physical movements and the degree of mobility, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination normally associated with dental lab work will be performed on a repetitive basis.
- The ability to distinguish letters and symbols as well as the ability to utilize telephones, computer terminals and copiers is required.
- Frequent exposure to dust, chemicals or fumes within a confined laboratory environment may routinely be encountered.
