Lab Technician- Females

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our hospital's diagnostic laboratory team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing biological samples to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The ideal candidate must adhere to high standards of quality control, maintain patient confidentiality, and work collaboratively with medical staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood, tissue, and other samples from patients following proper procedures.
• Prepare samples for testing using laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests (e.g., hematology, microbiology, biochemistry).
• Accurately record and analyze test results, and report findings to physicians or medical staff.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and quality assurance protocols.
• Label and store specimens and samples correctly.
• Ensure proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and laboratory logs.
• Support the training of new staff or interns as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory (fresh graduates with internships may be considered).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with laboratory equipment and automated systems; basic computer skills.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent communication, and teamwork.

Working Conditions:

• Rotational shift- (7AM-4PM) (11AM-8PM) (8PM - 8AM)
• Includes weekends and holidays working.
