Lab Technician I

Qualifications and Details about the Position
Responsibilities:
- Operate recycling machinery and equipment
- Monitor the flow of materials and ensure proper sorting of recyclables
- Inspect and clean machinery and equipment regularly to ensure optimum performance
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report them to supervisors
- Document production data and maintain accurate records
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as sorting or loading materials
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of various recycling processes and equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
