PRIMARY PURPOSE

Processing ICP-MS samples while following all quality and internal policies and procedures; including but not limited to sample preparation, analysis, equipment maintenance, and sample/solvent disposal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Prepare samples and standards for testing following laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

● Analyze samples on ICP-MS following laboratory procedures.

● Operate and perform routine maintenance on ICP-MS.

● Maintain necessary quality control and maintenance logbooks/ spreadsheets.

● Monitor consumable supplies and keep inventory of supplies at recommended levels.

● Perform high quality work by striving for zero defects / error-free work.

● Keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety and company policies.

● Manage and maintain sample/solvent disposal related to ICP-MS operation.

● Participate as a team player for your department and the laboratory.

SECONDARY OR OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

● Entering Data into LIMS system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

● B.S. Degree in science related field.

● 2 to 4 years laboratory on ICP-MS experience preferred.

● Experience with Agilent software and/or successful completion of Purity Labs training and qualification program preferred.

● Strong computer skills, especially with spreadsheets.

● Organized and able to work with minimal supervision.

● Sustained levels of high performance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Physical ability to lift 35lbs. to waist high, 25lbs. above shoulders.

● Ability to readily move about the laboratory and support areas without limitations to the effective performance of your duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
